The FIGMENT TreeHouse by Benjamin Jones has been a huge success since its first incarnation in 2011, receiving substantial media attention and over 100,000 visitors a year. Subject to approvals and permitting, FIGMENT’s TreeHouse will again be located at the beautiful south end of the Parade Ground. The FIGMENT TreeHouse will be free and open to the public on seven days a week while the island is open from the beginning of June until the end of September.
Housed within the Treehouse is an interactive art program consisting of 4-8 interactive installations chosen by jury. FIGMENT selects four to eight pieces each year that are daring and creative and take advantage of the structure of the TreeHouse in one of the four areas: the house, the balcony, the lookout, or the gazebo. Our team works closely with artists to bring their ideas to life.
