We'd like to extend our thanks and congratulations to the artists who have submitted thoughtful, creative art for the FIGMENT NYC Summer-Long Sculpture Program over the last 8 years.
FIGMENT NYC will be morphing the Summer-Long Sculpture Program into a collaborative fellowship initiative starting in 2017. This exciting new program will be an opportunity for artists and builders to work collaboratively and for the Sculpture Program to take on new depth as an experiential learning and connective process within our artist community. To best support this change, there will not be a Summer-Long Sculpture program on Governors Island this year.
The annual artist-created minigolf course will, however, be out in full force. This year's theme is "Mini is the New Big." We hope you'll come out and play with us this summer!
