July 21: Opening of Superfront’s “PUBLIC SUMMER: Library of Immediacy”

From July 21-September 23, SUPERFRONT presents “PUBLIC SUMMER 2012: Library of Immediacy” in partnership with FIGMENT. Designed and constructed by architectural duo saA (Amy Chang and Seo Young Shin), The Library of Immediacy will host an ongoing, community-curated installation on weekends. Join SUPERFRONT and FIGMENT to celebrate the opening of this installation on Governors Island this Saturday! The opening event will include performances and live music. Visitors are welcome to bring books and objects to the site that hold personal meaning to add to the growing collection at the outdoor Library.

Where: Parade Ground on Governors Island. Click here for directions; once on the island, follow the signs.
